Scott A. MacKillop
Scott recently joined Fox Financial Planning Network specifically to work on the Symphony project. Scott was formerly President of Frontier Asset Management. Frontier provides portfolio management services to the clients of independent financial advisors and provides investment consulting services to advisors and institutions.
Prior to joining Frontier he served as president of three investment management firms, one consulting firm and was vice president of a pension consulting firm.
Scott was involved in the development of some of the first managed account programs for independent financial advisors and has been working in the managed account arena for over 20 years.
Scott began his career in the financial services industry over 37 years ago as a lawyer in Washington, DC specializing in corporate, securities, ERISA and venture capital matters.
Scott speaks frequently to industry gatherings and has authored numerous articles on topics including managed accounts, investment consulting and behavioral finance. His articles have appeared in Journal of Financial Planning, Investment Advisor, Financial Advisor, Financial Planning, Investment News, FundFire, Ignites, Advisor Perspectives, The Monitor and The Wrap Fee Advisor.
Scott received a BA from Stanford University and a JD (with Honors) from George Washington University Law School.
